The definition of universal behavior, cultural behavior and personal behavior

Universal behavior is behavior which is shared by human around the world. It is based in human biological inheritance passed on through the generations of all mankind. For examples we will smile when we’re happy, seeking intimacy or body when contact to express love or affection, and we will wave our hands to say goodbye.

Cultural behavior is the totally of the formed social significant characteristics of the personality. It is based on the moral norms, principles, and ideals. Cultural behavior includes rules of religion, traditional culture, and the codes. For example, Young men in China are faced with the reality that if they want to have a good chance of finding an educated wife, they must secure a well paying job and have enough money to buy her a car and a new condo. In addition, they must be prepared to cook, wash dishes, and do other home maintenance jobs traditionally done by wives, and then couples are only allowed to have one child without paying stiff penalties. Because of the traditional pressures on parents to have one child, it’s because of the populations are too much. Another example is in traditional regions of Latin America, men should be more macho. They should be overtly masculine, confident, strong, brave, always control their emotions, and sexually demanding. Women should be emotional, nurturing, faithful, and passive in response to the demands of their husbands. In other words, men and women should have opposite character but complementary personalities because there is no room in this ideal Latin American perception in passive man and aggressive woman.

Personal behavior is a person action or reaction which is different to the other person. For examples there’s a person who likes to come or wake up late, a person who has a tendency to judge people at the first time they just met and a person who likes to talk much or talkative.

SOMETHING THAT CAN BE ABSORBED IN WATCHING SPONTANEOUS / SIMULTANEOUS TRANSLATION OF WAYANG

I watched spontaneous / simultaneous translation of wayang at fib on October 19th 2009. Kathryn Emerson translated Javanese language into English spontaneously. It was interesting because she’s the only American woman in the world who can translate Javanese language into English spontaneously.

Kathryn Emerson mentioned some things that she might not to do in translating. For examples if wayang was still moving in the kelir, don’t type a lot. Just type the point of view or the main idea if it’s possible. The most difficult thing in translating Javanese language into English is when the dalang used some terms in Javanese. She could understand what the dalang was saying but if she tried to translate what the dalang said in English it might be so weird. People who speak English as their first language will think that it doesn’t make sense. So, she just translated the main idea of the story. It was proved when the dalang said, “bali kampung terus derep wae”, she translated, “just got back to the village”. Actually it was a joke if the viewer could understand Javanese language but it didn’t seem like a joke when she translated into English. No foreigner laughed at all. Something that surprised me is when the dalang was complimenting her that she was good, wonderful woman and so on; she didn’t type what the dalang said. She just typed “blah…blah…blah…” It was interesting. She just laughed and tried to deny what the dalang said.

At that time the show was very fantastic. Some foreigners came in to enjoy the show, but I just a little bit disappointed with them because most of them had left the show before the show ended. They missed some parts where the dalang told some jokes like when the dalang realized that most of English department students who came in were feeling so bored, so he hinted the students by saying “the students don’t pay attention to the show instead of sending messages to their friends. They were just forced to watch wayang by the lecture because of the task.” Apparently that was the reality. Before the dalang told some jokes, the students had kept talking to their friends or doing something else which could entertain them. But after that they concentrated to pay attention because the dalang kept telling jokes. If we watched the whole show we can have some good advises. The dalang gave some advises for the students. He said that we have to save our culture by studying English and then tell to the world that Indonesia has a lot of things to be proud, shared and enjoyed. It’s not enough if we just study English and not do anything with our knowledge to this country, so we have to explore our ability by learning traditional languages, dances and so on to introduce our country to the world.

saturday night's stories

I don't have anything to do right now so I'd better type my stories these days!
these are random stories..

1. i have to visit Bri, my Australian friend in the hospital cuz she's sick.. it's typhus. But i don't go..cuz it's raining here and i just finished ironing my clothes. Maybe if i am not busy I'll go to visit her..

2. yeah..it's still about school! i have lots of tasks and next week I'll be conducting mid term exam! i suppose to read some books right now, but I'm too lazy to sit and read. the language is using ancient English. so I'm forced to read them slowly and look at my dictionary over and over. it will drive me crazy!

3. i just ate
Chinese noodle. Hmm..it's delicious.. i cooked it by myself.. lol ( is it important to be shared? )

4. I always listening to Taylor Swift's songs! OMG.. they are so touching and i like to read the lyrics. She's good in writing songs! her lyrics are experienced by girls our ages! the lyrics are simple, on the contrary it's natural and i like a person who can write good lyrics like her.

5. I was invisible with a person whom i don't want to mention the name and now i am not invisible anymore. Cuz time has proved and i realized that my prejudice about that person is totally wrong! instead of we're becoming friends and we hang out sometimes.

6. But the problem is i am stuck on my memory! it was happened when the last march.. i am stuck on that person whom i don't know how to say. That person is not good looking enough or bad, that person is in the middle. But i just can't ignore that person! and i found out that this world is very small. That person has a family here and some friends of mine know about his family who live here. OMG... is it a sign from God or something? i don't know.. some friends insist me to say hello to that person or just doing something to make that person remember me but i don't wanna to! I'm still having my pride though i have to control myself not to falling into deep. Here i convince that i like that person. though i realize that i don't have any reason to like that person! this thrill is like a streaming river which can't stop streaming. Just let the rain let it pour, what i have to do is just wish a miracle to bring that person back here to see me like it was.
there's a part of me saying that absolutely I'll be meeting that person someday! but i just don't know when.. :D

7. I went to Semarang to sight seeing with Ratih. I met some friends in Semarang. It was very hot there. and the pics are on the next page.. check it out..

"what i do @ campus is just playing uno! lol"

my point of view in the reading "From Self-Reliance" by R.W Emerson

The reading “From Self-Reliance” by Ralph Waldo Emerson explains that we have to believe in our own thought. It’s genius if we believe that what is true for us in our private heart.

If there’s a term saying “the grass is always greener” is true. We don’t have to envy with what people have, but we have to offer thanks in everything that we have. It doesn’t mean ours is worse than the others; just believe that ours is better. We have to accept what are the worst and the better for ourselves. Because we have decided our own way to undergo our life. So, all the fortune is from our hard work. The most important things are we have to accept ourselves for better, for worse, for our portion.

Further on the reading tells us about how that person can be accepted in his place which full of bad things. He has trouble with his society; his society is different with his life at his time. He has to accept and adjust his society rather than doesn’t do anything to make his life better. Here, it is described that the society can change a person easily. Good person can be influenced by bad things if that person can’t control himself to keep walk straight in his own life which is better. The reading also tells us about the young people who can have their freedom to do anything that they want. They are still young and they need to try anything without being forbidden by their society. He just thinks that why his society tends to judge people without knowing himself deeper first. A person is forced to be someone else who is not himself.

I learn something from the reading. It asks us to think about what we must to do is all that concerns us, not what the people think. This life is difficult between actual and an intellectual life. They might be served by greatness and meanness. It is harder because we will always find those who think they know better than we know. It is easy in the world to live after the world's opinion, it is easy in solitude to live after our own; but the great person is a person who is in the midst of the crowd keeps with perfect sweetness the independence of solitude. And the objection of conforming usage that is scatter our force is just wastes our time; blurs the impression of our character.

what points should be considered in gift giving

Indonesians always give a gift to a person who celebrates something for example wedding, birthday, anniversary, Christmas or other celebration. We also consider points should be considered in gift giving such as the function, impression, uniqueness, and it depends on the money that we have. Lisa Mapson who is from Australia mentions that points should be considered in gift giving are something that they can use and the stuff should be thoughtful. Daniel Harvey who is from England said that points should be considered in gift giving are something that would make them laugh, bring a past memory, thoughtful, and not based around money, but of course gifts which cost a lot of money he would never say no too. His opinions about gift are something which are simply like money, video game or something including surprise party which is very nice for him. He mostly gives money but he will give something nice for someone who he holds special like girlfriend or close friends.

Lisa Mapson mentions that in wedding party she likes to share money from her friends including her to buy washing machine or other stuffs, the most important is giving the stuff that they need. Money could be given in wedding party. The same thing happens in Indonesia. The difference is in Australia money will be given as a voucher so they can use that voucher to change it with the things that they want and in Indonesia we just give them money which is collected or put in a box. They have to consider in giving gift for a person who celebrates his or her birthday. Because it depends on his or her age. In people around her age, she likes to buy gift by collecting or sharing money from her friends. Giving money could be polite and impolite. It depends on the person who is given by, if he or she is their close friend, it’s usual, they just give them money and he or she could use that money to buy anything that he or she wanted. But if he or she is not their close friends it could be so weird, because he or she might think that the money is much or less. They usually hold a big party on sweet 16th and 21st years old. In 21st they can drive and drink an alcohol. She didn’t mention what kind of gift that should be given. Because it will be different to each person. My friend who is from USA named Alyssa Chantel Sorenson got new laptop from her parents and some bottles of alcohol from her friends when she celebrated her 21st birthday a month ago. She was very happy because now she’s able to drink an alcohol legally. My Dutch friends named Elaine Nicolaesz and Bess Dornboss wanted to give a voucher to their Indonesian friend on his birthday a few months ago. It was a voucher in order he could to go to a cinema, unlucky there wasn’t kind of gift of voucher in Indonesia especially in Yogyakarta, so they just gave him a t shirt. Lisa Mapson also added that there’s no specific things in giving gift in both of anniversary or farewell party. Because in anniversary there are some levels such as bronze, silver or golden ages. In farewell party they just give things randomly which are memorable. Alyssa gave her host family some batiks and other stuffs when she would return to USA. For celebrating Christmas, Australian people like to play game called Kris Kringle. They can play that game at their work or with friends at school. Everyone has to buy a gift and then put their name in a hat and drawn out randomly. Everyone gets one name of their friends so that everyone gets one gift randomly.

Gift giving is not only given when they celebrate kind of celebrations. Sometimes they give something without basing on the celebration. Lisa Mapson gave her boyfriend and best friends tickets for some concert or something so they could go out together or Daniel Harvey’s girlfriend gave him a t-shirt from California and sent it all the way to him from USA, she also got him a post card and a little sign with his name printed on it. They are small gifts but they meant a whole lot to him. The last gifts that he gave to someone is for his girlfriend. He gave her ear rings and lots of small gifts. Sometimes he sees something that is cute and his girlfriend might like, so he just buys it. It will sound cheesy and lame if he compares gifts that he had gotten but the gift of having someone cares for us will always be better than an actual gift than we can touch.

nb: this is my essay for tomorrow! it takes more than 3 hours to think about it. Though i have enough sources but i am not satisfied. Cuz my friend who is from US can't be interviewed. it would be nice if she could be interviewed. I met and catched up with australian friends these days. Their accent is difficult to understand cuz they use a lot of slanks that i don't get it but i do I still understand their talking. So when i met a friend who is from US. i really like it cuz i think i speak in American accent. But unlucky she can't give more information about my essay's topic. Maybe someday..

How Australian people serve food and drink to their guest

Observing food and drink is the most important thing to be given to the guests. In my family my mom always prepares food and drink to the guests. If they come, we always offer them what kind of drink that they want first without waiting them for asking. When I asked about how people serve food and drink to their guess with my Australian friend named Samira Alamudi who is studying in University of New South Wales, she told me that if there’s a guest comes, Australians will not offer drink or food, but he or she has to ask. If there’s a close friend comes in, they let him or her to make his or her own food or drink in their home. She said that it’s usual. They will eat with their guest in the dinning room and it’s polite to have extra. Australians always eat by using spoon and a napkin is put on the thigh. It’s normal if Australians eat while talking but it’s impolite if they make any noise while eating.

Though it’s normal that their guest takes food or drink by his or herself, but Australians sometimes offer food or drink first. For example, does he or she want warm or cold water? Normally in Indonesia, women should prepare, make or serve food and drink to their guest though that guest is their husbands’ guests. If we compare to Australia, it’s a big different. There’s no stereotype gender in preparing, making or serving food and drink. Men or women can do that. It’s because in generally Australians don’t have maids to help them cooking, cleaning, or even taking care of their babies. Maids are paid a lot there.

If Australians got an invitation, they should tell the inviter that they will come or not or ask permission if they want to ask their friends. It’s common if they celebrate birthday or kind of party at the disco. They like to dance or drink. They just go at the bar or restaurant at the night if they want to get dinner with their friends or just catch up. The bars and restaurants are clean. There are no flies and the government provides employees to make sure that everything’s clean and health. The thing that we as Indonesians don’t have.

I collected that essay this afternoon! assignments really should go die! i have a lot of assignments that i don't know how to finish them! T.T

a bit story

I am not sure i can share much stories in this section. Hmmm... i don't know how do i start??
i just passed my days that way. Nothing's special! I went to orphanage with Queenty and my Australian friends Mira and Bri. It was the 1st time for me to visit orphanage in Jogja. And yeah..i was surprised! the children are under 7 years old. And they are university students children! OMG..
yeah I've known before a staff told me. I saw a girl gave her baby in that orphanage! A staff told me that her boyfriend cheated on her. OMG! sadly seemed she couldn't let her baby but the condition insisted her to give her baby there. We just brought a bit things for the babies. And it was just nothing. The children were good. It means they don't starving or need more things for themselves. But when i noticed them one by one ( not only me, Bri thinks the same thing too ) they need affection. They need someone who cares! they need to be understood, feeded, and asked to talk.
Everytime i tried to get close to them, they didn't want me to go. yeah.. all of them! they like to be asked. Maybe i'll pretty often to visit them. Or maybe adopt... ( if i could have much money and i could have nice place to live )

This is another story... ( you don't have to read. cuz it's not important )
I saw that guy when i were in somewhere that he used to in! I saw his back and i didn't tell to my friend. Later he appeared and saw me ( i saw him but i didn't want to see his purposely )!
he smiled at his friend whom i knew! and a friend of mine told me that his smiled wasn't common. It indicated that he knew what i did. He made a sign to his friend ( who also my friend ) that there was me! yeah.. he knew that i like him! no wayy...!

Today i went to see my lecture who is my supervision. I asked her about scholarship to go abroad. It's difficult! I don't know how to start..it's long journey. I need more and more study!
I'm serious to go abroad. and i believe that someday I'll go overseas! i don't know when. But it will be happening! though it takes 10 years later..( no..i don't wanna wait for so long ).

just so you know

I'm lazy to type right now! but i don't have anything to do. Well, I'd better sit and type my stories lol
Look, I have a lot of tasks and i don't know how to finish them! though my Australian friend, Mira wants to help me. But I'm still lazy to think..!
I've been waiting for my family to come! Maybe on next Monday my mom and my sister will come and then my dad on the next day. It's nice to be here with them though my room will be so messy as they are here! that's fine.. I don't have to pay my daily needs by myself. lol
Yen-yen's mom is here right now. She gave me some foods. lol it's nice.. not only foods but we talk a lot. Her habit is like my mom's. So, i am not surprise and understand her. lol

Ah.. i have some problems that i can't share to anyone! i don't believe in people right now..
just curious why some people that used to close with us dump on us?? did they do it purposely? i don't know..( sorry i can't explain it well..I'm not good in giving explanation ) maybe i have hinted by using my words on twitter. but seems like nobody realize. well, that is not the point! the point is i really want to change my life right now! I'm bored with this condition! just do the same thing over and over every day. i got an uncomfortable treatment that insist me to quit and look for my own freedom. I'm sick of this. Now i can't deny..i really really want to move on! look for something new! I have a dream that maybe some people know! but seems they don't know that i am serious. I'm still struggling to chase my dream. Lucky me there was a man who teaches me gave some advices and encouraged me. I do i agree with him, and now i am insisted to leave a bit things to chase my dream. And i have to do it by myself. I like process.. especially process to reach something! i don't care about the result.

and ya one thing that is always in my mind! a person that i thought about these days! it's confused me! it's the problem that i can't solve! i have been crazy. And now realize that i have to loose it..though it's still warm in my heart! i just need the time, sooner or later i have to meet that person again.

polite and impolite questions in Australia

The ways of approaching people in every countries and polite or impolite questions are different and it’s very interesting. So, I asked about it to my Australian friend named Lisa Clare Mapson who studies in University of Melbourne. She said that ways of approaching people is by make friends and then we will get networking. We can ask about their name, family, job, education background, and hobby. But if there is a person who just met invites us to his or her party, house, or even travel it’s kind of weird or unusual. For avoiding it we should say “No, thanks. Maybe someday.”

Polite questions that we can ask are about family, job, education background, where we live, school, or even ask about boyfriend or girlfriend. But if there’s a person who ask about boyfriend or girlfriend with us it means he or she interests in us. Except he or she is our close friends, it’s normal. But if there’s a person who asks about our address further, we should to curious because he or she has to have the reason.

Impolite questions that we can’t ask are about religion. It’s very sensitive question. Nobody likes to be asked about it. It would be strange if we ask about marriage status. We’d better not to ask but we just see in his or her finger is there any ring or not. Income is not appropriate to be asked, but it’s ok if student asks about it to other students who do part time job. Asking about personal detail beyond his or her name, his and her parents do or their ages, and political preference are strange questions. We have to ask his or her permission if our friends will join in their party. When I asked it to Lisa what is the most question that she ever asked is when she traveled alone, there was a man asked, “Do you travel with your husband?” She answered, “No, I don’t have husband.” And a man kept asking, “Are you sure?” She thinks that it’s kind of weird and it’s a lot.

If they meet people who just met, they should shake hands strongly and introduce their name. They don’t kiss on their cheeks or hug if meet people they just met or their own friends.

And present is common to be given. We can give money for birthday or wedding present.

NB: That is my summary that i have to collect tomorrow on Cross Cultural Understanding class. I interviewed my friends named Mira and Lisa who are from Australia and her friend named Lauren who i just met in karawitan class. But in this summary i just mention Lisa's answers because we ( me and 3 other friends ) have to share their names lol.

Well, i had to find other people who are not Indonesia today but i was so tired of asking questions and i didn't have much time. so, i decide that it's enough. I'm too tired ..

waiting for opening the gate

I don't know what should i type! a friend asked me to tell my story about yesterday. But I'm too shy to share. It's for private area lol. I just really shared that story only for 4 friends. lol
i am a person who never tell my story ( my personal live or problem) because it's difficult to believe in people. Though i have a lot of friends. I just like to keep it and share one or two years later.. wow!
I am waiting for my Suriname friend named Flo. She will be late to go home. And i promised her to open the gate. It's almost 2 am. That's ok as i had just chatting with my old friends Temmy and Chuin-chuin. And I'm leaving them on yahoo messenger i think they're still mocking each other.. lol
I'm so tired today. I did a lot activities. I think I'm going crazy thinking about my lessons and doing my assignments.

The thing that i expect is hopefully this time ( my hope ) will be come true. I am not sure but i'll struggle.. but i just can't ask people to give me suggestion about it. Only a few friends. I'm involving my friend who is from USA to discuss about it. she has a lot of experiences. lol

funny pics

These are my funny pics with Sondang and Yen-yen.

"sondang, yen-yen and me"

the earthquake that i remember

My native speaker who is my lecture on General English Class asked me to write down about the natural disaster that i remember. And it's my story about the earthquake that occurred in Bantul, Yogyakarta a few years ago. I don't remember when it happened. I just remember that it happened when i was in Junior high school ( now i'm university student ) lol

A few years ago, there was an earthquake in Bantul, Yogyakarta. I didn’t feel about it actually. Because at that time, I was sleeping and my mom just told me that she felt headache. At 11 am my uncle who lived in Bantul called my dad telling him that there was an earthquake. He lived with my grandmother. My grandmother wasn’t at home. She went to traditional market alone. How come? She was 70’s. His house was completely shattered. Nobody knew where my grandmother was. Feeling panic, my mom was crying out loud and she asked my dad to go there with her. There wasn’t bus or even train. So, my mom and dad decided to go to Bantul by motorbike. Me and my sister worried about them. We were just alone at home, in different city. They just gave me money to buy our daily needs.

When my parents were in Bantul, they didn’t even call me. They tried to call me and my sister over and over but it always failed. And they stayed there for over a week. That was okay for me actually. Later I knew that my grandmother had been found safe and sound. A young man helped her to runaway from that situation. There were so many people dying. It was so terrible. All the houses were smashed to pieces. And their psychic condition wasn’t good.

Two weeks after that natural disaster . I went to Bantul with my family. The view was so terrible. So many crying babies were hungry and their parents couldn’t gave them food or milk. They were waiting for helping people who would gave them foods, clothes and various medicines. I felt so sorry and I just gave them my old clothes.

I didn’t sleep in bedroom. I slept outside my grandmother’s house. It was so cold at the night and it was so hot at the day. I stayed there for five days. While I was reading a magazine that I had just bought on the floor. I felt the floor moved. Though it was so slow but I was so scared. I didn’t know where my dad went. I was alone. Suddenly I felt so relief because I heard my dad’s voice. He called my sister out loud so I could hear him. He told me that it was a small earthquake that sometimes happened. And I think until now, sometimes we can feel that small earthquake in Jogja or even other places outside Jogja.

weekend.. Horraaaay..!

While waiting for the dawn i'm trying to type my story. I don't know what to do and i can't sleep.
Hmm... let's start from today. I didn't do a lot of activities today. I just went to campus at 7 a.m.
( I set 5 alarms ) and lucky me i could woke up easily and Adel called to wake me up! haha
Then i was back home at 11 a.m. It was nice to take a nap today! haha
At 5 p.m i was looking for foods to open, seemed i ate a lot today! i ate rice ( compulsory ), siomay, and Pisang ijo..
As i was washing my clothes "the bread seller" came in my room and offered me her breads!
shit... i had to buy! if i didn't buy, she would always offer me everyday, besides she's the daughter of the owner of my boarding house!
Yen-yen was in my room, but she just kept playing with my laptop. She seemed feel uncomfortable with "the bread seller". I like bread, but it doesn't mean i have to buy her breads everyday! her breads are so expensive for student like me. I could buy rice than her bread!

I was chatting with my old friends Temmy and Chuin-chuin. They look like shit! haha
everything that we talk about is always no sense! full of jokes and sometimes it's kinda weird. haha
Seems like we can't make a serious conversation! always...hmmm...forever and always! haha
Sheilla, one of my best friend said that she's going to Jogja on Novermber because her University in Bandung will hold something that is involving 3 Universities in Jogja.
I can meet her... hmmm well done! I'm missing to mock and jeer her! or even reproach her!
haha..we used to do the kind of things! it's ridiculous but it's nice!
she likes to speak out loud and then her laugh is like a credit laugh. Cuz the way she laughs is repeated over and over.. lol
( i heard that she's getting fat right now! yeah..it's easier to mock her..lol )

One thing that i almost forget to share is the guy that i first thought is a gay. He's not in my mind anymore! i don't care... it's not my business! lol
i'm going crazy if solve that question ( the questions that i make by myself! )
He's not the problem to solve and i just don't need to be interfered
Just make sure that he's alright there... in somewhere over the rainbow ( u think it's the rainbow? or it could be other places? no one knows )
>,<

it's weird photo! it was taken 2 days ago in karawitan class!

late late late...!!

Today i didn't attend my class at 7 a.m! I was sleeping! omg.. this semester would be very hard for me! i couldn't wake up early!
Last night i slept at 2 p.m after i had eaten with my friend Ade and Flo.
My alarm didn't work out..!and yeah, i woke up at 10 a.m! what an awful!
Lucky me, a friend of mine said that the lecturer is good! we don't have to attend the whole class, we just collecting tasks and doing exams. lol

Around 3 p.m I accompanied Adel to buy helmet! Finally...she got her own helmet..hahahaaa
We ( me and 4 friends ) continued to open in Galeria mall. Me, nisa and Dea ate Bento and Dichie and Adel ate kind of chicken.. lol
Nisa couldn't eat hers all, and yeah i ate the rest of her food..lol seems like i always be a trash for everybody. lol

We continued to visit Coral Galery. There was an exhibit of photo which the transvestites were the models or subjects. It's pretty often i see some transvetites around Jogja. Some of them are married or having husband....anyway! that's their life..

nb : i met a cute guy in campus! >,<... he wore white shirt and bandage in his right arm,, yeah i remember that. lol. His hair is a light brown!
i'll find out who he is..lol..( seriously?? )
I think he's Australian guy but...maybe he could be American! no matter where! lol
no no no.. at least my eyes would be freshed if i see him lol.. because in my college, especially in my class, the local guys are not pretty handsome! so..yeah u know what i mean..lol

restless

My mood is not good today after a lot of accidents happened.
they were not big accidents actually, but i don't know i just don't believe in people right now ( some friends also ). The thing that always disturbing me is a friend of mine always changes her mind. She keeps playin' me around ( no, that sentence is too much ). I just feel that if she needs something that she wants, she will come to me and act nicely. But when she already finds her own ease, she ignores me. Has she ever thought that it hurts? and then other friend of mine asked about it to me also. She ( the girl who asked ) felt the same thing too. I realized about it, and it's been a long time. I don't know what to say right now.
Just wait and see, she will come to me if she has problems. Seems like she never listens what i say. as a friend, if she does bad things, i like to remind her. But she never listens. And when she gets her own trouble because of her own mistakes she will come to me.
she likes me to do something that we like ( our needs, something that she wanted but maybe now, she has been having other things. But she keeps need that ). She's unstable!! very unstable..
I like to do it actually, because i will have a lot of advantages. So, i think i gotta go my own way. I will not tell anybody ( no, maybe some people ) that i'm still doing something that i like ( my own activities which is my own way ).

Ya.. i guess so! It's my time to think about myself. I'm tired of helping and understanding herself. How come??? she never cares! stop to get involved with my activities outside.
Sometimes she makes me confuse! if i reach something because of my hard work, she's envy and asks me to help her. But if i help her, she just lets me that way! what does she want? i think she just wants to having fun with her life. Just do something that can make your world so colorful! She likes to play play and play... just think about your future! ( do i talk so harsh? )

Sorry guys, i talk so much and it seems like a bullshit!. I just lost my helmet yesterday. It's new helmet from my dad. that helmet is the best helmet that i ever had. My dad doesn't know about it cuz i will not tell him. I bought the same helmet this afternoon by using my own money. And im willing not to buy shoes and cloth this month ( seriously? ) cuz i will not let my dad downs.
and another story from me is i guess that guy is not a gay... a little bit happy. Though a part of my feeling is already flat...
the way he talks, his looks, gestures, attitudes and postures conclude me that he's not a gay ( though i haven't believed 100% yet ) but it makes me so relief.. relief.. not totally relief..
but i'm still hesitating...hmmm....

is he a gay?

i can't stop think about this. There's a big question circle inside my head?
"is he a gay?".......!!
i don't know....
and i can't decide that he's a gay...
he doesn't look like a gay... but who knows??
though my heart says that he's not a gay.
i'm so confused!.. i just can't share this to anyone. I just think that it's impossible to claim that he's a gay! he's from a good background ( his family ). But i don't know anything about his friends and environment there. No..he's not a gay.. hmmm no one knows!! it's very difficult to make specific conclusion. He's so random though!

in the early morning blog

I have not slept a full night. Just understand it, I woke up yesterday at 2 PM, my goodness .. really lazy. And I missed my best friend's test Yen-yen on her campus. Luckily, she graduated and now she has an undergraduate degree economics.

I can not sleep now, this is all Temmy's wrong .. he was chatting with me about 3 hours of the morning ( i can't blame on him actually, i like to sleep late these days! haahaa..he always be my alibi lol) and now maybe I can not sleep because I just ate for the dawn (tomorrow I'm fasting). 11 hours a day later Me and Yen-yen should go to a happy puppy bar. We got there a birthday invitation, we are just karaoke there, maybe not eating because it is still fasting month, although many people who will be invited are not fasting (non-Muslims), but it seems not to be held meal-eating. That's ok for me .. the most important is i can karaoke! haha .. at 6 half-hour afternoon I have an appointment for dinner with Maya and Temmy in lombok ijo Restaurant. Maybe I'll take Yen-yen to accompany me on a motorcycle. It was all Temmy's idea, he invited us to dinner at Lombok Ijo Restaurant. Ouch ... seems like he wants us to become bankrupt, Doesnt he know that it's an old date .. ??? fortunately my money is still quite a lot to dissipate till the end of this month, haha. it's ok for me, the most important is i can meet, gather and play with my old friends...lol

no class for 2 days!

Yuhuuu.... i don't have any class for 2 days. Today and tomorrow!
engga tau dosennya yang males ngajar apa emang belom dimulai perkuliahannya...
yang pasti I'm so lazy to have class at 7 a.m everyday!
Beruntung di kelas GE ada yang dipindah jam tayang ( tipi kale jam tayang ) dari jam 7 pagi ke siang. Engga tau gara2 ada native speaker baru2 jadi diganti siang. ( engga nyambung banget alasannya. Maklum aku ngebuat alasan yang sok tau banget.hahaa )
Ada tapinya! Bule2 mana mau ngajar jam 7 pagi? paling engga jam 9 pagi lah..Apa mungkin gara2 itu dipindah jam? Maybe.. ( I am not sure! ) sok tahu.. huhuhuhu
engga rugi bangun siang mulu. haha.. maklum aja, aku punya insomnia yang sangat akut! ( kayaknya ini bukan insomnia, tapi karena kalo malem sukanya online terus jadi tidurnya pagi dan bangunnya siang terus, paling cepet jam 11 pagi! ). Bangun siang itu nikmat! ngirit makan, puasa kagak kerasa tau2 udah sore aja haha...
Yang jelas minggu depan sudah pasti sangat sibuk!
Padahal I like being boarding house! why? i can cooking everyday. Cooking is my hobby right now. I don't know i just feel bored with foods which i bought. I like to cook in different menues everyday or look for the recipies from internet and then practice them. It's nice!
haha
Kayak ibu2 aja kalo belanja di mall atao ke pasar...huhuhu. Sekarang jadi sedikit banyak tahu harga bahan makanan! haha.. gak papa lah at least i try to be a good mom and wife from now by organizing them all. haha.. ( hey.. i am not married! >,< ) oia.. hari ini banyak banget makan roti! i eat bread everyday! i have my own bread which is wheat bread. and then "the bread seller" always offers me to buy her breads everyday! no way... i'm getting fat! i feel so sorry if i don't buy her breads. But the problem is i have to buy them everyday! how come???!! >,<

YEAH...karaoke!

Today, i only had 1 class ( cross culture understanding ). I was so lucky! that class was started at 3 pm and i woke up at 1 pm haha .I was so fun cuz that subject is not as serious as other subjects. The lecturer always made a lot of jokes and we ( the students ) only watched some movies.
Me and some friends ( college friends that i always go out with ) went to Food Fest to eat. Most of us were fasting and we opened there. We ate so much that eventually we couldn't bear to eat them all... so full :)
And then we went to karaoke bar in Own Cafe. We had gone in Naff before we knew that it was closed.
It was the 1st time we went to Own cafe to karaoke. But the place is cozy though.
I really want to go to karaoke. It's been a long time i haven't been in karaoke bar. We used to go to karaoke twice a week or it could be more.
But in Own Cafe the songs aren't as complete as Naff. When I looked for Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and other singers, they weren't stored there. It only stores old singers such as Westlife, Backstreet boys, Hanson, Spice Girls and bla bla bla.. and then they songs aren't complete :(
We were fun anyway!

nb : these pictures are not complete. We are 6 girls, but in these pictures below only 3 girls, i don't have other pics of 3 other friends

memorable pictures when i was in high school

Yunita, Temmy, Maya, Me, Sheilla

what a sleepy day

My first class has just begun. It started at 7 a.m. Last night i just slept for 2 hours. I was talking with some friends in my room until 4 a.m. We made a lot of gossips.. :) ( that's what girls do if they're together ) I couldn't imagine if i couldn't wake up at 6 am. Lucky me, one of my friends who lives in the same boarding house named Ade offered to wake me up :)
I was in hurry to go to campus. But no lectures came in! it means i didn't have any class today! It is understandable because today is the 1st day for students to study in my university. I think at least there would be one lecturer who came in. But no one! It frustrated me.. haha ( yeah because i was so sleepy and i had to wake up early but no lecture came in! )
so, I decided to return to my boarding house to continue my sleep. I had a plan not to attend my next class at 1 p.m because i was so sleepy!
Dea called me asking whether i wanted to join her and other friends to watch a movie in the cinema or not. I was so sleepy so i declined it :)
besides, the movie was horror. I don't like horror movie

...............and yeah, my dad sent me money today!
In the afternoon i went to Amplaz with Yen-yen and Dini to buy some foods and other things.
We asked Maya to join, but she couldn't join us. She said that she doesn't have much money. lol
That's ok actually, but i think she just doesn't go anywhere or she feels afraid if she will buy something if she sees a lot of nice things.. haha. When i was in Carrefour, one of the worker there asked me whether i am indonesian or not. He asked me whether i can speak javanesse or not. I aswered that i can! He thought that i am Japanesse or something like that. And at that time i was with Yen-yen who is chinesse-indonesian. I just think that maybe he never sees people in different tribes or etnics in Indonesia. Indonesia is a big country which has so many tribes and etnics inside. So, no matter what they look as long as Indonesian language is their 1st language is Indonesian ( that is my opinion ). But Indonesia is one of the biggest rasism country in the world. Sometimes each tribes or etnics descriminate each other. Honeslty i don't like people who descriminate each other. because all of my friends are differents. I like them and i don't like to descriminate people who have diffrent tribes, etnics or even religion with me. The most important is the personality. I like to live with diffrent people. It's nice. I can know their culture and habit. Doesn't God ask us to live together in a peace?
It always happens in me sometimes. Do i look like indonesian or not?yeah.. i am indonesian! i look like indonesian. Though some people think that i am not. anyway...
